Chaska Minnesota is located in the beautiful Minnesota River Valley in the southwestern corner of the Twin Cities area; it is a 30 minute drive from downtown Minneapolis.
Chaska Minnesota is made up of four residential areas: Historic Downtown, Jonathan, Mid-town Chaska, Eastern Chaska. There are four business parks, Crosby, Arbor, Peavy, and Lakeview. There are a wide variety of businesses which provide Chaska with an abundance of jobs, and the means for a higher tax base.
Chaska has two retail districts: Historic Downtown with small boutiques, restaurants, offices and services, redevelopment emphasis. The Chaska Commons featuring Super Target, Home Depot, Rainbow Foods, and more restaurants likely in future.
Chaska Minnesota Parks and Trails: 544 Acres of developed parks; 1000 acres of open space (1 park per ¼ mile radius), 25 miles of developed trails, City Beach at Fireman’s Park, Jonathan Beach at Lake Grace.
The City of Chaska is home to some great golf courses, Chaska Town Course is open to the public and owned and operated by the City of Chaska and designed by Arthur Hills. Chaska Par 30 Executive is a small and demanding executive course designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior. Hazeltine National originally owned the course.
School District 112 serves Chaska, Chaska, Victoria, Carver and East Union. Eight of the eleven district schools are in Chaska, 4 elementary, 3 middle, and 1 High School.
There are five private schools within Chaska, St. John’s Lutheran, Guardian Angels Catholic, Southwest Christian High School, Jonathan Montessori/World Learner, and Holy Family Catholic.
